MATTHIEU BONNE FULFILS THE TRINITY: WORLD RECORD HOLDER IN 3 DIFFERENT DISCIPLINES

In 2023, Matthieu set 2 incredible world records in 2 different disciplines: 3.620 km of road cycling in 7 days and 131 km of non-stop open-water swimming in 61 hours. He added a third unbelievable world record early this month by running 1.046 km in 6 days, also crowning him world champion and world record holder in 3 unique disciplines.

After Matthieu had to abandon his first attempt at the 6Days in March 2024 due to pneumonia, he hit back 3 times as hard at his 2nd attempt in Hungary at the World 6Days Championships. Without any major problems or setbacks, he broke a record that had stood for 20 years and seemed unbreakable to many. But Matthieu's limits are immeasurable, he ran more than 24 marathons in 6 days with only about 10 hours of sleep, an unprecedented performance that stunned the entire ultrarun community worldwide.

Matthieu, commented afterwards how he was surprised he still felt so fresh, he had almost no muscle pain. But nevertheless, this is his all-time best performance ever. And with Bonne's track record, that counts. Matthieu Bonne is now undeniably 1 of the world's greatest athletes, dominating so many disciplines. At just 30 years old, he still has a great career ahead of him in the world of ultra sports and we can expect more improbable achievements.
